Raising True F1 Certified Brangus Cattle

Our Registered Black Angus/Brangus Cattle

We have decided to no longer have our hereford cattle and have started concentrating on Golden Certified Brangus Cattle.  We have seven registered Black Angus Cows that are top breeding with one of our top Registered Brahman Bulls to breed top quality Golden Certified Brangus Cattle for any operation.  For those of you that do not know the term Golden Certified Brangus Cattle are the TRUE FIRST CROSS of Registered Brahman Bull and the Registered Black Angus Female.

When crossing the Brahman Cattle to the American Cattle Breeds you get a resulting calf that grows heavier with better carcass efficiency, as well as inheriting many economic characteristics of the Brahman Breed such as drought resistance, heat tolerance, and longevity of breeding.

The Brahman cross female is regarded by commercial cattlemen as a maternal machine with bred-in environmental adaptability, increased milk production, higher fertility, and longevity of breeding that her Brahman genetics brings.  She will live longer, produce longer, and give you more pounds per calf than any other breed!  The Brahman cross female is imitated but she has no match and the same is true of the Brahman Bull!

In the feedlot, the Brahman Cross Steer makes rapid, efficient gains and produce high cutting carcasses with little fat which is the demand of today's market. This has been proven in a study by Texas A&M with calves weaned and USDA Choice cuts with tenderness readings that were well within the choicest ranges.

We have found that next to the straight Brahman Breeding the crosses produce the best calf growing to be the heavier, healthier, longer producing animal.  We have seen the calf grow side by side and the Brahman influenced calf always grows healthier, heavier, and stronger than the english counterpart.
